FRIDAY, AUGUST 6th, 2004 *** Please join us for an informal gathering to meet and greet each other....to be held at the Overland Park Doubletree Hotel at Corporate Woods!
Our "Barry-Maffey Reunion" room has been reserved for us from 7:00 pm to 10:00pm. Light refreshments/Cash Bar. Please come and help sort out how we all are related!!!
SATURDAY, AUGUST 7th, 2004 *** PICNIC AT SHAWNEE MISSION PARK!!!
Shelter House # 10 is where all the action will be! Festivities start at 11:00 am and will continue until ???? This shelter house setting is beautiful, lots of trees and hopefully a fantastic breeze! Wear comfortable clothing!
Basic Picnic Fare will be provided starting at 12:00 noon: hamburgers, hot dogs, beans, chips, cookies, ice tea, lemonade, water and soda pop. The "Frosty Treats" Ice Cream truck will even stop by! TWICE! Bring your own vegetables and fruits if you so wish. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED. The young and young at heart will entertain us by participating in activities that we will have available: volleyball, softball, horseshoes and whatever else we come up with! There is a creek nearby and I am told the kiddies have a ball playing there! Family, food and fun!!!!!!

According to MapQuest these two areas are 10 minutes and 7.8 miles apart. We will have maps and directions for you to pick up on Friday evening if you need them....
Rooms are available at the Doubletree at the rate of $ 59.00 (plus tax) per night. Call the above number and mention "Barry Family Reunion." Deadline has been extended to July 24th.
Even if you are not staying at the Doubletree...please, please join us there on Friday night. Our entire clan is anxious to see you! We expect to have 135+ in attendance!
